Credit Card/Debit Card

We accept all major credit and debit cards, these are processed through PayPal. If you are unfamiliar with using PayPal please contact us and we will talk you through it. Remember, you do not need a PayPal account, contact us and we will send you a PayPal invoice this takes only minutes.

Cheques/ Money Orders

Please make payments in £sterling and payable to "Hanselled Books".

Cash

We do not advise that you send cash by post, however, if you do not have any other method of payment we accept £ G.B. pounds, € Euro’s or $ US Dollars. Please note that these are sent to us at your own risk.

Telephone Orders

If you wish to make a purchase direct from our retail premises, again we accept all major credit cards and these can be processed over the phone and your purchase mailed direct to you. 

Delivery

We make every effort to process your order within twelve hours.

UK orders

All orders within the UK are delivered POST FREE

All deliveries are made by Royal Mail Second Class post or Parcel Post.

Orders over £50 are insured and despatched ‘signed for’ and tracked.

If you would prefer another method of post please contact us to arrange this when you place your order.

EU and World

Unfortunately due to the high cost of delivery we are unable to offer free postage to our clients out with the UK. We do, however, subsidise a portion of the postal charge roughly equivalent to the price of UK delivery.

All deliveries are processed through Royal Mail UK and are sent Airmail Small Package.

All orders over £75 are insured and sent International Signed For.

We no longer offer a surface mail option as this was not particularly reliable and in many instances was taking up to 3 months for Asia and Australasia

As a result of the USA's Homeland Security increasing its anti-terrorism measures, some packages going from the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland) to the USA may be subject to additional delays. This particularly applies to packages weighing over 500gms. The United Kingdom's Royal Mail has stated on its website that this means that such packages which "would normally be sent by passenger aircraft must now travel by other means, including ships and cargo planes." Inevitably, this will lead to some delays in US customers receiving books ordered from UK booksellers. We apologise in advance for any delays, which are beyond the control of UK booksellers.

Refunds/Returns

We make every effort to describe our books accurately and also to provide detailed photographs. If, however, you are unsatisfied with your purchase or have simply changed your mind, you have 28 days from receiving your purchase to claim a complete refund.

Please contact us in the first instance to inform us of your decision. On receipt of your returned purchase we will issue you with a complete refund.
